“I draw breath from the lemon grove nearby, a quiet evocation of freshness and scent carried on warm winds. I no longer fit neatly within its frame — instead, I spill outward, growing, unfolding beyond borders, like the life I seek to mirror. My forms emerge from the unseen: microscopic worlds of lemon pulp, leaves, and blossoms - delicate patterns that fold into one another like whispered secrets. These intimate textures mingle with traces made by a scanner’s gaze, a crushed lemon pressed against glass, fractured and scattered, capturing the fruit’s hidden depths. Between these layers of scale - the smallest cells magnified, the fragmented whole revealed - our perception shifts, unfolding new ways to see and feel.
I become a space where the familiar dissolves into discovery, where the quiet complexity of nature invites us to pause and wonder. It is a delicate thread weaving between the grove’s tangible breath and the hidden life within each lemon - where countless cells come together to form a living whole, much like ingredients uniting in the kitchen to create a meal meant for gathering. I invite u to sense this quiet harmony, honoring freshness, growth, and the unseen bonds that shape our shared moments.”
